As a young boy, Ched Nunez grew up with action figures and an active imagination. Taking over the family living room, he transformed coffee tables, sofas and carpeting into vast landscapes full of conflict, excitement and wondrous intrigue. Saturday morning cartoons and movie-nights with his parents deposited countless ideas and visions into his psyche; seeds took root.
With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Motion Pictures and Television from the Academy of Art University, Ched's action figures are now actors, his playgrounds are movie sets and his fantasies are brought to life through the friends and colleagues college has given him.
Ched finds something or someone to photograph or film anywhere he is. Besides dreaming up narratives, he is an active videographer, filming live events both casually and professionally. He is still the avid movie-goer and his action figure collection continues to grow.
Aspiring to be like James Cameron or Steven Spielberg, Ched wants to direct his own big-budget, action-adventure, sci-fi epics. His desire is for others to feel the same magical, emotional experience he felt when the T-Rex first crossed the screen in Jurassic Park (1993) or when Ellen Ripley confronted the Alien Queen in Aliens (1986).
